It was such a joy to see this pretty garden party shoot inspired by the British tradition of afternoon tea on Style Me Pretty a few short weeks ago.
Creating this festive spread for Holly Chapple‘s workshop at the lovely Hope Flower Farm was most definitely my cup of tea; I was excited to bring to the table some of my own recipes that fill me with nostalgia for the cherished people and places I grew up with.
Delicate finger sandwiches of herbed chicken and smoked salmon graced the table along side traditional British scones served with a delightfully sharp homemade lemon curd. Miniature shortcrust pastry tarts filled with raspberry jam and fluffy almond frangipane were the perfect amuse bouche before tucking into the festivity’s centerpieces; a three-tier Victoria sandwich cake adorned with seasonal fruit and a feathery light pavlova topped with crème chantilly and jewel-like cherries.
It was an afternoon tea fete fit for a queen!
Thank you to Holly Chapple and the Chapel Designers for inviting me to participate in this beautiful shoot at Hope Flower Farm and to the talented Jodi & Kurt Photography for capturing my contribution so wonderfully!
